So what did you want to do with your life? Growing up we all have dreams of what we wanted to be when we grew up but very few of us ever acheived those dreams. So what did you want to be when you grew up?

My goal was to join the marines and become a ranger. I wanted to be a sniper in the military than go from there to the CIA, NSA, or a private group as an assassin. Yep a weird ambition I know. I still enjoy shooting although it has been quite sometime since I last went.

I as well wanted to Join the Marines and i did, was there for six years, desert storm vet.. I also wanted to get my degree which i did and i then wanted to be a cop or something in that field, but, after school i got accepted into the police academy and i got an offer making double the money so i rejected the police career and did what i'm doing now. If i had to do it all over again, i would of been a cop and maybe US marshalls or something..

Yea I have applied to be an air marshall. Haven't heard anything yet but you never know.

Don't give up on that... My neighbor, former Army dude got hired like 2 months ago, he's had been waiting since 2006. He called all the time and kept on top of it, they actually came and interview a few neighbors to see what type of person he is, just your everyday background check type of stuff. He's getting paid really good $$$$ and meeting lots of babes on all the flights, he's single so imagine.. But don't give up on it...!

well since i was a teenager i've wanted to fight in the UFC i know what your thinking YA RIGHT but randy coutere has a gym in toronto that trains future UFC fighters and I'm already in shape and have already been in contact with them but at 40 would be a hard grind but i still haven't put it to rest as of yet..

Sadsack, i train in American Top Team here in Miami, not to fight but just to stay in shape. I'll be 40 in July so i'm not going to push it. The problem in Miami is that everyone thinks they can be in the UFC and the classes are jammed packed. I got 2 times a weeks b.c it's expensive. $145 a month gets u only 2 nights a week.. It's fun though b/c alot of the hoodrats hang out there, young kids and i get to use some Marine hand to hand combat stuff on them, the reaction i get is "but you're old" as they get up wondering what the hell hit them.. LMAO!

Growing up I always wanted to be a pilot or have a job where i could carry a gun. I have done both took lessons through high school to get my private pilot license and was cut short by the death of a close friend. Went back a couple months ago to finish and got sick really bad "threw up all over my self to save the cockpit and then pulled over by the police for speeding trying to get home from the airport for a shower" so gave up on finising but have logged close to fifty hours so mission accomplished. I'm now a state correction officer so second dream realized. :blastaway:

Good stuff!

Moto GP, or WRC Racer. Yeah, hasn't happened yet LOL. Always was into helicopters and flying but never joined the service, and helicopter school was very expensive when I looked into it.

Mike, Moto GP is still not out of reach... I see that you live in Cali, for far are you from Laguna Seca? Big time Superbike races there.. it's a start... If you have a bike take the course, cover up the lights, get shark skin farrings and throw that bad boy on the track.

well i have always wanted to be an automechanic and at the age of 21 i was a licenced auto tech so that dream was realized. i also wanted to have something to do with racing and i work as a track safety marshal at the calabogie race track so all my dreams have been acomplished. now for my newest dream to have a nitro truck faster then banks lol (but i don't think it will happen)

I train to stay in shape as well in Krav Maga and kickboxing. I have not heard good things about that school. Word on the street is they just bought the rights to the name and they trainers there are not that good. The school in London Ontario is far better. It's the one that Sam Stout trains at.

Growing up I wanted to do a lot of things. I wanted to be a Marine and did that from 93-97 I also served in the National Guard for 3 years. I wanted to be a firefighter and when I turned 18 I joined my local volunteer department and made Captain before hanging up my helmet. Last but not least as a kid I always though garbage were neat for some reason. I don't know if it was just the noise they make or the moving parts but they were just neat. For the last 8 years I've been living the dream and driving garbage trucks for a living. My next dream is to retire and play with rc cars/trucks/planes and be this guy :homer:

I have always wanted to be a WRC driver. When I was younger, I used to do auto-cross racing, etc. Unfortunately, there is not much of a demand for WRC drivers here in the US.

A more realistic dream has always been to be a career firefighter. I ended up getting married and needed real income, so I have had to settle for volunteer since the $ is ****-poor as a fireman (go figure - computers means $$$ but working to save peoples' lives, running into burning buildings, putting you *** on the line - and you need to scrape by on the mere pittance they pay you).

When I win the lottery, I will definitely quit my job and go full time Fire/EMS.

Devil Dog, Glad to meet you!!!

My dream would be to go to an automotive school and then in time work with a racing team. Whether it be motocross, nascar, f1, monster trucks or whatever. Until then ill probably be in a dealership somewhere I guess.

Not trying to brag or say something that would never happen, but i would like to follow my dad's footstep and drive a full size monster truck. I have already been offered a job when i turn 18 to owrk at the digger shop. No lie.

If that doesnt happen i want to be a lawyer, computer technightion, or to own a place where the homeless and people that have problems can go and have fun and don't have to worry about the bad things in life

Savageman, This may be a dumb question but i'm fairly new to the Monster Truck World, which truck does your dad drive?

Also, it's nice that someone as young as yourself would think about the homeless people.. You have a good head on your shoulders.. When you work at diggers don't forget all the small people here at the forum..

At this point in life I would settle for a five day a week job. I work six now and I would love to be able to spend more time with my son and wife.

Thanks Man. My dad used to drive a truck called Wild Hair, but its all tied up right now in personal stuff. But i hope that i can work at the digger shop because i have been around monster trucks ever since i was 4. So hopefully it will work out.

Growing up I always wanted to become a rockstar. To this day I still love to jam. I have a nice jam area setup and enough equipment to record a 5 piece band. I am mediocre at all instruments but would love to get into the engineering side of music. So my dream today is to do something concerning music. heres a link to a family project that you can check out http://www.myspace.com/kilbarchanstation
