Was wondering should I cut out a hole in stock shell front and rear windshield to let air pass thru to cool engine ?

More airflow over the engine/ cooling head is always a good thing. I've done it on a few bodies. Just keep in mind, air is not the only thing that will go through that hole. Dirt, debris, etc.

Cutting too much of the windshield makes the body weak. I usually just cut a round hole that doesn't quite reach the roof or the hood using a hole saw/bit in a drill. Then you don't have any "hard" corners in the hole to stress the body and cause premature cracking.

Alternative idea - drill a bunch of holes in the windshield?? ?
Works, but can look pretty horrible, if you care about such things. :)

Probably one of those things where a bit of time and effort with a ruler and marker to space them out would end up looking ok, but still leave enough material for structural integrity.

I do not care to spend that kind of time on something like that, so when I tried it, it appeared I put it on a post and hit it with 00 buck! lol!
