Well it being winter and all... I been thinking of what i could do to my truck in the snow.. I wanted to take 2 pieces of 6061 Aluminum and make them about 7 inches long 3" wide. At the front make then bent up a touch with a rounded front. Then take some Angle iron and make hole and the bottom with a bolt & nut at the ski and make a hole for the hub to be added to the hex. Just alittle confused on how to mount/ make that.. Will make for a nice vacation project. Not gonna do a jumps or anything just strictly cruising threw the snow.

What you think?

Hype b4 you go nuts 4 paddles works better in the snow then skis. just to keep you on a budget

Skis look cool. The only thing I don't like about them is them seem fragile. One light crash head on and it's game over.

Ya I wasn't sure what you were going to do but figured I would ask. I do believe the Full Force ones have a little bit on skags on the front and rear. It would allow it to grab and turn around corners better where with none it may tend to go straight.

Well operation custom skis was a failure.. Truck barley moved in the snow... I think crash was right in saying there is a weight issue.. Might go plastic tomorrow..

Plastic will be the best option as it slides accost the snow easily. You could possibly grab some bar soap and rub it well and make it slick accost the snow.
