My rtr 3 was my first nitro r/c and its a lil special. I haven't driven it in years mainly due to the fact that the front bearing leaks and they discountiued making the part. I recently decided to make it run again, so I bought a used motor. its the .18 from the rs4 evo and the new mt. It took some modding to make it fit. It wasnt all that easy and took a while but I got it. see the thing is I am cheap and didnt want to spend anymore than the 40 I spent on the motor, so I didnt use the 2 spd tranny. I made everything mount as the old .15fe did. I also did a rally conversion on it again spending no cash. I trimed all the hubs and carriers, the suspenion arms, the turnbuckles, and moved the factory shocks so I would get maximum suspension travel. The funny thing is it all works. here are some pics
