Oh man! Upgrade heaven!!

Tonight I have the following to play with ... I'm adding these to my Savage 3.5

1. Savage X Radio Box
2. HiTec 645MG Steering servo
3. Upgraded Steering Bearings
4. IRC Shocks and mounting kit (Losi oil - 35wt front / 50wt rear)
5. Fastrax Center Skid Plate!

All in one monster upgrade session! get in!

Right, where's the beer ... 😉

That will be some good fun. Now don't you just wish thoes parts would just jump into the truck so you could drive it without waiting and having to install.

haha! yes and no ... the appreciation of slowly building it all up and getting a feel for the truck and its workings is a beautiful thing ...

and just one note ...

Oh my F***ING **** *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These IRC Shocks are F****** HUGE!!!!! Seriously, they are about twice the size I thought they were going to be!!! I've never seen a set in the flesh before and (excuse the pun) I'm genuinely shocked!!!

haha!!!!

Yup there huge I run a set of LST's on my basher and love them. They are a much better damenining shock. There impressive. Some poeple don't see a difference but you have to actually play around with them and there is actually a huge difference. Just make sure to use a Good silicone oil in them, I run 45wt Losi in mine and lot it.

I got my IRC shocks arriving in a couple of days!!
Now hearing how good they are from yet another person...I CAN'T WAIT!

Yeah i've got Losi silicone oil for mine ... 35wt on the front and 50wt on the back ...

shortay ... your going to be shocked at just how big they are ... i'm still looking at them and giggling like child ...

Haha...I can't wait now!!
Are you still running the stock .21BB engine in your 3.5?
If you are, all I can say...Your missing out! I used to have a Savage 3.5 and then got a X SS, all I can say is...WOW!
The .28 engines are at least twice as powerful in both lower and higher range, probably one of the best upgrades on a Savage 3.5.

clicky new hpi 4.6 k $119.00

Thats the one crash!!
To give you an idea of the power of the K4.6 compared to my old .21BB...I was running 14/52 gearing on the .21 and it would be lucky to wheelie sometimes, I am now running 19/47 on the K4.6 and it will still flip on its lid..Even with Ext. TVP's, I had to lower the front suspension and make the back higher so it would stop!

yeah man ... a new motor is on the list for sure ... and thats the one i'm going to go for ... a K4.6 ...

oh bring it on!
