Ive just changed a bunch on my truck and put a thread together for SC but felt I should post it here too (Guilt)

Here is one of my 2 savages JP racing Novarossi 528 XRP, 086, 250 cc tank, throttle mod with no mix arm, savage racing suspension conversion FLM LCG EXT tvps. CEN Diffs Hpi Big bores and more street tires on it in this pic for tests.

If you run a spectrum and a good throttle/brake servo I hope to god you don't trust that spring to close your throttle.. bye bye truck if you loose your batt connection or it dies... It only had to run up a tree on me once to lose the spring. But other than that it does nothing... and its 2 not 1...:slapped:

Low batt has already bit me once, luckily it only went a short distance and ran into the garage. Does that rubber band over come the torque from a HiTEc 645? If will just add in the other fail safe. Its kind of sad to pay this much money on radio gear and the RX does not have a built in fail safe.

I was ****ed the DX3R didn't have a voltage cut off. But none do if you eject the batt... what do you mean over come? yes it will close it... Is it strong enough to open it IDK. My servo is 175 @ 6 x .07. I tried moving the spring out past the pipe cutting it in half to increase it's rate all would not close my servo... elastic does every time and don't rub on composites wearing them. To think they sell rubber bands just for this and you most likely have one in your desk draw....
