I read some where about cutting the tips down on the clutch shoes for snappier engagement,Has anybody tried this?..the artical said to cut little pieces off of the tips on each shoe till you see the take off needed..sounds like it would work..i have lots off alum shoes laying around..if nobody has any input on this..i will try it with a set i have here.

You might be able to drill holes in them like Nove does. That way you don't have to worry about making it off balance or taking too much material of a contact point on the pad.

I would just buy nova shoes and adds weights in them.
