Clutch shoe shim problem

Hey guys,

I am having a problem. I am using the stock HPI flywheel and pilot nut with Dynamite Max Life shoes. The problem is, if I put shims under the shoes, the spring end won't go into the little groove in the pilot nut, so the end of the spring is hitting the clutch shoe behind. I was wondering what size shim should I use? Thanks!

Not sure about the shims coby. I would just buy a mugen nut if I were you. That should help make everything line up better.

I was able to fix it. Turns out the shims I were using were way to big (I think they were like over .05.). I bought some .03 shims at the LHS and it fits fine.
