Cheap Aluminum joint bars.

I did some searching here and saw many different solutions for the joint bars. So here is mine.
I did a little research and some measuring, and found that the stock HPI engine mount brace is almost exactly the right size. All the holes are correct, just the bar itself is not as thick/wide as the Aluminum replacements. The plus side is they were 6 bucks versus 40 for the HPI anodized ones.
I have been running them without problems for 2 months now.

Yeah I paid 5.99 for the set, they come in 2's from HPI. I'll try and get some pics tonight.

Here is that pic of an engine plate brace bar being used as lower joint bars.
There was no modification necessary. These are HPI # 86063 Engine mount brace.
