Only cause I haven’t seen it posted anywhere and searches have been fruitless.. what’s the chassis plates made of? I’m looking to paint, anodize or PC my chassis but also don’t want to F up a set of them either. Running HPI 73917 Main Chassis SAVAGE 2.5mm (SILVER/2 PIECES) at the moment. Already had to buy another set and rebuild due to a bonehead driving move where I bent the hell out of the existing chassis and broke a bunch of the steering/battery box stuff. I’d love to go with a “Grave Digger” green chassis however I’m a do it once do it right person so I don’t want to wetsand and paint it if it’s going to flake, crack with flexing etc.
Just looking for what the rest of you have done and what works/doesn’t work.
