Is it better to run with 4 or 8 because ive seen savages both ways and do I need to upgrade the savage x towers to run them.

4 for racing...8 if you plan on bashing...

you can run them with stock towers, but you will lose a slight amount of ride height, unless you make a custom bracket for them...

komodo has it. you might have to change the shock oil in them.

I would suggest going with a shock tower like THIS .

I ran 4 on mine and it was just a little soft for me but 8 would work good. but I did have a problem with the steering. The tie rod was hitting the end of the shock when I ran 8. Hoped this helped
