Castle 2200kv. With stock motor mount?

I'm finally ready to install my momba monster system in my flux and the castle motor has too many cooling fins to allow it to fit I thought about taking a dremill to it or set up a router table to trim a few fins down flush has any one else run into this problem and what were your fixes

I just ordered some 42mm motor mounts from GSM in Canada 50$+\- $ look really cool

I saw those a few minutes ago. I'm going to mod my own and apply the savings toward some really good lipos. Will 3s fit in the stock flux batt boxes??

3s will fit you just have to watch for the thickness of them when you buy them.

i did the grinding on the mounts as well, but have yet to run it, lol. should be fine tho, its all fits and tightens up and meshes fine.
