hi all

i just recieved my axial 32 off from ebay

the thing is that i want to remove the carb from the engine but it seems sticky, i didnt try to froce it out

any idea how to remove it?

I used a hairdryer to heat the carb and engine up a little, that helped with the removal..and you don't realy have a choice you have to remove it because it comes the wrong way round for the savage from the factory 😱(

The heat is a good Idea as it will soften up the o-rings and will expand the aluminum block part a bit. Also, just give the carb a slight twist they do get stuck in there so some force is needed sometimes but not to much. It will come. Make sure that you have the clinch nut/bolt loose and aren't forcing in over either direction as it needs to be in a neutral position.

Whenever the neck is stuck on mine, I make sure the screw on the carb neck is loose and I leave the allen balldriver in it and I tap the end of it with a small hammer to help free the block from the neck of the carb.

i do take the bolt out all the way, but i was afraid to hammer it, i will use the hair dryer later on and get it out if possible
