BUKU Setup

Hey guys. I just got the buku from Scott and I was looking for a few tips on setting it up. I'm running an LRP Z.28 with the XL 3 speed transmission. Any setup and tuning advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Its supposed to be warm here this weekend and I cant wait to test it out. I'm running a JP-4 on it right now but I'm hoping to get a little more snap out of the engine with the BUKU.

Man if I was you Keith, i would give Dave a call at Buku.. He would be more than willing to give you some advice on the pipe...
I new that I seen something on here about how to mod the cone for the LRP. Maybe this will help you out a little bit Keith.

I agree call Dave Maslar at Buku he's probalbly got the set up for that engine.

theres a custom cone for the lrp. he sent me one free of charge. Dave is a great guy.

+1 on this, Dave sent me a LRP cone for free and I live in England!!

I'm using the buku on LRP and found the best set up for me is, no rings, red spring and LRP cone and I left the adjustment all the way out...you can always drill the holes in your existing cones a little larger if you don't want to ask Dave for a LRP cone, I cant remember how much larger you want the holes but can measure if you need me to...
Hope this helps but remember you can tune the Buku to your own preference so the set up I use may not be suited to you.
