a short vid of the lrp breaking in, it was giving me loads of trouble getting up to temp, but a couple short phone calls to robin and heres the results:

at first for about a 1/4 tank the temp wouldn't get above 108*F even with 4 layers of tinfoil and a sock, and the rag from the vid. i ended up having to lean the lsn a little more the 1/2 turn just to get it up to running temp. i also found that after the cool down period it just refused to start back up. i lfound that problem to be the glow plug that the lrp comes from factory, its deffinetly made for it being warmer out. i put in the mc-8 i had lieing around and that solved the cold starting problem, i know i still need to go to the hobby shop and pick up a few mc-59 plugs. i gave them to a friend not thinking straight (idiot).
i went to put the piston at bdc after shutting it down and theres so much pinch that i cant turn the motor over with out using the roto wand and pliers. now after 3 tanks i can turn the motor over with just the wand(its hard but i can do it)

keep in mind guys is maybe 20*f out even in the garage, my hands were froozen, and next time i break a motor in I'm putting the stock pipe on, i couldnt hear out of my right ear for about an hour after putting the truck away. MACS=NOT GOOD FOR BREAK IN! KILLS YOUR HEARING.

as of right now the lrp has about 3 tank through it for break in, I'm going to run another tank or two through it then its getting sent to robin. i havnt decided if I'm going to get a vid of the motor running before sending it to him, its just way to cold, and snow everywhere.

b3elive me it was preheated for like 10 mins with a hair dryer. i think part of the reason was the glow plug the motor comes with.
