big bore vs cen shocks! POLL!!!!

I have ran both also and would say BIG BORES for performance, CEN for looks...just my 2cents

i voted big bores..... don't have them yet, but i did run the cens....

cens will make your truck a good bit lower, some guys here have had great luck with the cens... here is what mine looked like after the last bash.. it was about 30 degrees which prob made the plastic brittle, but the other guys with the big bores came away without this kinda damage ... PLEASE don't think I'm trashin' cens in anyway, i liked them, but I'm gonna try big bores next

also, i want to point out that I'm planning the racing-steering conversion & you can only use 1 shock up front anyway so keep that in mind if you plan the same pryo 😛eace:

i havnt run either but I'm saving for the big bores. but i have run with a guy who has a cen gst and he breaks the odd shock

another vote for big bores!! don't get me wrong the cen's are a good shock to but as was stated they actually lower your truck and mines low enough now lol

Never ran BB's but my cen's have held up great .. 1/3 the cost also

And NO CEN"S are not for looks .. my god man

I voted for the cens. I've never ran the big bores, so I can't give my opinion on them. I've beat the crap out of the cens, well when my truck was runnin, and haven't had a problem with them yet. The only thing that happened to one of my cens, was the resivoir cap end got popped off at an angle due to the lower mounting screw backing out. The cap didn't fully pop off, just looked like it got cross treaded. I took the shock off and checked it over and none of the threads were damaged or stripped then refilled with heavier oil and it's now good to go.

Big bores... I never ran the CEN's but I watched Fred's explode with half the impact that my BB's can take.

with the big bores you only putting on 4 shocks? dumb question but I'm about to drop 80 on them and don't want to find out i only got half of what I need.
