Better shock shafts?

Anyone know of any stronger shock shafts for the Savvy? I'm using stock right now. During yesterday's bash, I bent a shaft on my X, and broke one on my 25. It maybe time to upgrade. Are the big bores any stronger?

I have the same problem its just the nature of the stock shocks. BB are on the top of my list of mods to do now. I kill them on the 20 foot plus jumps and mostly because I only have the one up front because of the rsc. I found once I modded the shocks to lower them that helped a lot with the bending. I do break the shock base eyelets constantly still though.

lets not forget these are toys no matter how much you don't want to admit it...

I have bent a fair share of big bore shafts. Its not a cure all to landing a jump right. If you land on 1 tire from 15 feet up your asking for it! Driver skill plays a big role in not wrecking parts ...

To answer the questions, I'm still using the stock weight oil, whatever that is. And they are still full. I checked before we went out. I did have my fair share of poor landings. The jumps weren't that high though...maybe 6 to 7 feet. So yeah, I still need to improve on landing right. I did stick a bunch of the jumps though. Thanks for the responses though. I'll look into the big bores.

I as well have bent a few shock shafts on my BB's probably more of them than I did when running the stock shocks on this particular truck and the stock shocks had probably twice the run time on them.

Also check for worn suspension parts or cracked arms around the hing pins (usually on the inside).
