When I see an ad that says let's just say. Savage 25 rolling chassis for sale! Does this mean its in pieces n u need to put it together n 9 times out of 10 its not ready to run you will have to more than likely have to. Buy a lot of parts for it to get it to a running stage again? Thanks in advance. I feel dumb for asking this but I've heard it was this n that n I wanted to see what everyone hear had to say!! Thanks again!!
 
So without seeing the ad we really can't give you much insight, everybody has a different opinion of a roller. Back in the day a roller meant everything but electronics and engine, now I see rollers with no wheels. How can it roll without wheels? :D
 
Depends where the ad is. If you can contact the person that ran the ad, ask that person what it consists of. A roller should be exactly that, needing nothing but electronics,but find out for sure. If it starts needing a whole lot of orther parts, RUN!

You were right it needed electronics it had no ESC motor,pinnon gear for motor,transmitter,and receiver, no batteries no charger! This is on a e-revo for 149.00 do u think this is reasonable for e-revo? Its brush less vxl
 
most likely. ask him 3 questions.....
1) how old is it?
2) how much/how hard has it been run?
3) does it have any upgrades?

most likely its worth 150, but u never know.( brand new rtr erevo's are 600-700$)

Anyone know just outof ball park figure how much it would cost to get it going to run? Just curious
 
yes, 1/16 is much much smaller. 1/10 scale is much better

150 is too high for it then imho. I would cost u that to get it running. see if he'll go down. I would go 100$. if he wont, then buy one off of ebay.
 
it would have been a great deal on a 1/10 not so much on the 1/16, you would prob be better off just buying a new one. Check on ebay and do some comparing ultimately it is your decision on if it's worth it or not.

Well still no email from the guy with ad I wrote him 2 emails maybe tomorrow he will chime. Back
