Baja Wheel Conversion

How extensive is the conversion to run Baja Wheels on my XL?
Is it just two of these kits:

and one set of wheel nuts:
http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/87494/

Something tells me I'd need to change the cups out so they have a bigger shaft which I'm guessing would need bigger bearings in the spindle...and I'm sure I'm missing something else.

That's where my question came up, I just didn't want to hijack his thread...LOL

After looking at both assemblies from the Savage and the Baja, I think it's a simple swap of the Baja's Diff cups instead of the Savage's axle cups, different bearings (needs a larger ID 10x16 vice the 8x16 for the Savage) then the 24mm hub kits and wheel nuts. I'll PM HellRaiser and ask him though...

I was all over HPI's site today comparing parts fom both trying to piece it together. I would have definately spent more money doing it my wy...LOL

Mickey got it spot on! 102530 is the right kit to get for changing over to the baja wheels, like I said I've had no problems & I've landed big air on this setup (and not lol)! All I wil say is lock tight the 8mm inner nut

I like the 23mm hex's because of the low profile tires, not so much bounce. But would like to have a wider stance. You know like longer than the stock ones from HPI
