baja axels

hello everyone

trying to find help or info if anyone has done or seen it done i would like to run these axles in my XLhttp://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMZA9&P=Z#partsusage just wondering what and where you got the bearings to fit i have no idea how to read the size of bearings. these are stock XL bearings http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDLJ7&P=MLand these are the bajas http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0095P?FVSEARCH=b089&search=Go any help would be great.. even an explanation on how to read the size of them would help.

lol is it confusing? my plan is to put truggy style 17mm hubs on .... i have seen a way to mod the XL axles to make them work but it leaves a week point with the old threads of the stock axles.. so i was thinking if i can get the baja axles to fit that will take the week point out of the axles... did that make sense?

i don't think baja axles will fit but if you can find them savage 5t axles will work

Isn't 17mm stock for the xl, it least it is on mine.

Ohh, step um to 23mm and don't worrie about weak points I have off set 1/2 rims and my truck takes alot of hard hits to the wheels haven't broken anything yet just get the adapters and see how it works.

i don't really like any of the 23mm wheels ... i think i am looking for savage 5 T axles.... is that kit even out in north America? i haven't heard anything about it everything i find on it is European.

i was goin to.... but the conversion has standard size dog bone cups on the axle ... how did you mod yours to work?

they only work on the regular bones the shd

... I know there not the heavy duty size dog bones they wont work. unless savage x has a mod up his sleeve they will not work with the heavy duty dog bones on a flux/XL
