To answer your question, yes the fly wheel, colet, pilot nut and clutch bell will work on the axial .28.

Some how to's to start off.

When you get the Axial in your truck i would turn the HSN in 1 full turn, being winter maybe half a turn just to keep it fat, factory setting is to rich.
You don't want to bung up the mill with fuel. Oh one last thing toss the plus they give you and through in a McCoy # 59 for break in and when done that run a McCoy #8. One last thing run 25-30%. I run 25% and i have no problem with it, might jump up to 30% for next season. and if you decide to run 25 and want to go to 30 thats ok but you can't go from 30 to 25. UP but not DOWN.

this is not true you can switch fuels all you want, you just have to retune for the fuel you a using at that time

I was told by a guy at the LHS last year that you couldn't go down in %age just up. He's been racing for over 6 years. Iv said this before in a thread and if I'm not mistaken someone said i was correct .

it is not true i run what ever fuel in my trucks i have gotten 30% with my truck and ran 20% and vice versa all u have to do is re tune

just re tune it. i got a go .28 with 8 or 9 gallons on it, some is 20% some is 30%.
race blends(lower oil) and basher blends(higher oil). it still runs great

what i've found out, change of nitro % doesn't matter. you have to retune. but elevation should be factored in to your fuel choice. believe it or not the traxxas help hot line told me i should be runnin 30% because of my elevation! i swapped the savy and the revo to 30% wow what a diference! it was great advice.
