I'm in the middle of installing these and hope someone can answer this. Do you have to use the washers under the shoes? Even with 2 shims under the clutch nut (Mugen nut) the springs still don't line up perfectly. I have been told swapping the shoes around makes some difference, I am installing these in the clockwise formation. Thanks!

don't take the washetr out from under the alum shoe you need it there. best thing to do is to shim the nut up some with some washers, this in turn will mess with you clutch bell spacing so you will need to shim it prolly so it lines up right with the spur

edit, i read u used the mugen nut, try a new flywheel and nut combo, i personally like the ofna 3 shoe flywheel has a raised up section for the nut and a lowered section for the shoes.

Thanks guys. I just bought that nut cause I only had a HPI one which is shorter than the Mugen, I just didnt think it was good to keep shimming it up but seems ok and I just came home from a short outting with it and man do those shoes grab! Also that is a GPM flywheel, it does seem to be a little on the thick side but for now everything seems to work.

Here is a couple clips, their not great cause I forgot my camera so used my phone but the speed run one is pretty good for controlling with one hand and holding a phone in the other at that speed!
I was cut short cause a rear knuckle broke, :( Guess I cant complain since they are the original ones from when I first bought the truck which was when it first came out!
