Anyone lowering their big bores?

Hi i have built my big bores but they are the same height as the standard savage shocks.Nothing wrong with that but i lowered my standard xl shocks to improve the handleing.Has anyone found the need to lower their big bores?I know i will loose ground clearance but i don't bash hard and like my truck to not topple over at every turn:duh:.Thanks.I was thinking about putting the bump stop inside them as that should lower them a little and putting fuel tube where the bump stop was.

Thats exactly what i did mate, but i used the bump stops from the stock shocks 😉

you'll like the big bores lower even if you do bash hard. some use hf shafts that are 3/4" shorter. work great.

Thanks for the reply's guy's.I remembered i had some bent Hellfire shocks in my shed.Luckily they still have the bump stops on them so thats a result.
