antenna help neede

Hiya just purchased a radio set off ebay for the new hpi savage 4.6m and the digital rf receiver wire only sticks out 1inch above the body is this the normal length as my other savage which is a analogue set up is about a foot long he it came off a savage but I have my doubts anyone help with advice please thankyou

if it is a 2.4 ghz radio then yes the antenna length is normal....

high its the 2.4 gh rf40 reciever so do you mean normal as in 12in or the one ive purchased on ebay which is only 2inch

Digital antenna tend to be much shorter. So yes, yours is likely normal.

cheers for info checked with model shop this morning they also confirmed it so very happy ebay bargain !!!!!!!!!!

the way the new transmitter and recievers work its not really all that important to have the antenae wire even sticking out the reciever box that i have noticed
