what power rateing are you guys useing for steering?

I am useing a 150 oz. now, does not seem to be enough.

Yes you can use digital servos with a AM or FM radio. You still get some of the benefits of using digital servos over analog servos things like a bit more accuracy they have better holding power and they will still get full power right away unlike analog servos have to turn at least 5* before reaching power. Granted on a AM/FM radio you will not see 100% of the gains being digital but will be worth it.

I am using a Hitec 5645MG for steering which is like 156oz and it is plenty but I guess if your running big Joe's or something it may not be enough. I also use some JR analog servo with like 150oz on my basher and it works just fine as well.

In my opinion I'm not sure anything over 200oz is going to help as the servo saver will just absorb any more unless you crank it down tight.

I am running the HITEC 5645 running 40 series beadlocks with 23mm hex and MOABS and to me it works fine. Servo performance was little better with stock tires so I am considering going to a larger servo.

Maybe my JR is ok then at 150 oz.

I'll get a ball bearing set for steering posts see if that does it

I am useing road rage tires, the only issue is at full speed if

I try to turn it has trouble.

Crash, try checking your servo saver. I know sometimes the adjustment ring (nut) comes loose. It's a thought, but that might be your problem. Is this on your street savvy? If so, and your not doin any jumping with it, you might be able to tighten the nut all the way so it's real tight. That might also help. I'm using the hitec Tit. gear 333 oz. in. in my savvy and love it. Don't have any problems with it at all.

i got the hitec hs5645, proline 40 series 23mm beadlocks with big joes and while she has eaten one hs5645 already (bashing) the second one is doing much better. Unless i get the same problems (landing and striping teeth) I see no need to have any more power. I wish they had a Titanium gear upgrade for it

I am using Hitec HSC-5955TG 333oz/in with Pro Line Big Joes and I had to crank the servo saver right down as it was just moving with the power. I have been really impressed with Hitec's servo's!
