i see a lot of monster trucks with aluminum knuckles and the rest of the truck is plastic... is there a reason for this? or the arms are sometimes aluminum too... does it make the truck any stronger?

Aluminum A-arms are a bad idea. You don't want something that is supposed to bend to not be able to. However, the rear hub carriers are a very popular upgrade. They eliminate the turnbuckles which are useless and/ or annoying.

As a rule, if it needs to bend and flex to operate correctly then aluminum is not a smart choice.

its ok thats all i needed to hear...there will be no aluminum upgrading. they bend, they add weight and more expensive. i just wanted to see what the deal was so i made my decision to stay plastic.
