Aluminum Center Gear Case

Anyone using an aluminum center gear case? Any thoughts from the gurus here?

I have just bought my self a sav x tranny case. was that a good idea? also bought the diff housings as well.

No... He means that the X tranny case is a better design than the stadard tranny case.

It allows for top access to the tranny's gears, thus illiminating the chore of a having to remove a TVP and crack the tranny housing open.

no just the plastic ones. I agree with the guys though. I haven't heard of many people having any issues with the stock tranny case. I would stick to plastic and refill the holes with epoxy. Also you may want to replace the roll cage with a plastic one if you have the metal one.
