alum. shocks

hey guys, I was running my savage x today and broke a shock I thought about putting alum. shocks on it but my question is will I be replacing a-rms or shock towers more?

The only difference will be price, aluminum bodies will be more expensive.

I think you'll be very happy with the HPI aluminum big bores. Having aluminum shock bodies isn't going to put any extra stress on the shock towers or a-arms.

Yes, integy makes some. But I would steer clear of those, I was certainly less than impressed with the MSR8 shocks. Most other shocks with aluminum bodies have something that is plastic on it. Whether it be rod ends or a bottom cap.

personally I would stick with the plastic shock bodies. the aluminum ones look great and youd think that they benefit by being stronger (and they might be) but they also leak.
