I bought a stock 2350 Flux around 4 weeks ago and have decided to hit it with the AJ stick

Mods so far

New Shell
HPI sway bar kit
Fitted Leopard 2000kv motor
15kg steering servo

Mods on the way and still to be done

Adjustable upper suspension arms
HD drive gear
HD high speed idler
Ti idler shaft
HD servo saver spring
Integy rear hubs
Integy front c-hubs
Desert Boy 17 chassis conversion
Fit either HK150 or RX8 esc

Nice ride AJ. I'm just curious why did you go with Tekin ESC ? I personally would go with the castle ESC since its a bit cheaper then the tekin and the motor you have doesn't have a sensor.

I haven't fitted the RX8, ive left that in my SCRT10 for now, ive recently got hold of a Hobby King 150a esc which I'm going to use now

The ESC that came stock with your flux is rated to 6S you can still use your old ESC and that better than any HK ESC after all it is still castle.

HPI only warranty the MMP in it to 4s, so I'm going to run in my Hyper E or my SCRT if the RX8 packs up

Ive ditched the HK150 it just cogs to much, i then tried the MMP, it just over heated in 5mins and melted the motor solder taps off the esc, so now ive fitted the mighty Tekin RX8

Hope because its rated 210a it with handle the high current load better

yea when you have a $200 esc and $70 rx it makes sense, my lipos only cost $80, i never liked the idea on ramming all the electrics above the motor and servo

Insane mate, but had a mishap with my RX8 letting go, so shes got a MMM in her for now, just working on the gearing now, HD 52t, 19t pinion and a high speed idler seem about right for 6s work

AJ, get that hi speed idler outta there or your gonna have a collection of burnt esc's.

that truck/work load is way to heavy to jack up the gearing like that.

your asking the system to perform a job that it wasnt designed to do.
