I am running 6 2300mah rechargebles to my reviever... I also have an led that goes dim/out when below 4.3v... Also running a 900 micro pharad cap in line...

when your packs drops below 4.3 starts to cut out. Not sure if yoru using a fail safe. That will keep your truck doing a run away like wide open trottle if the pack drops low. rec. pack sound is fine with the mahs

4.3

4.3v is still enough to control truck... Dimming led just let's me know when its time for a recharge... I am using an old 7.2v smart charger from a cordless drill... It works Awsome! I'll show how that's done in another thread...

still running

I have been using this mod for awhile now and everything seems to be holding up... I will note however, that while the pack lasts for several hours of bashing, when its dead, it dies very quickly...

Any one else running 7.2v to their nitros?

not running 7.2 myself but am planning on making a 6v pack soon. I'm curious about your LED set up though. I like the idea of using an LED to warn me when to recharge. can you give me any specs on the LED and how you wired it?

Ya Ive seen that fancy 30$ one they sell but I like they 1$ led trick haha id rather save the doh for the aluminum A-Arms I want to get.
