60 wt Silicon Shock Oil

Would 60 wt Silicon shock oil be too high for aluminum threaded aftermarket shocks? Trying to decide if driving 2 hours to the hobby shop is worth it.

60wt is way to thick for savage shocks. you will find that the majority are running 25 to 35 wt shock oil

How many ounces of shock oil would I need for 8 shocks? Not big bores.

2 bottles should take care of ya ... think they are 2 ounces each bottle? 4 oz should be plenty ...

1 bottle for 8 shocks... You wont have much left tho. 2 bottles will give you enough to repair if needed.

i say 2 bottles. 1 bottle of one wieght and 1 bottle of another.
