Hello everyone!!!

Been a while since I have logged in, hope all is well with you guys.

I have a few bashing pics and vids to upload but first things first....

I tore down my savage 25 that had a 4.6 mill from and HPI Hellfire in it.
It is a project I want to complete soon so I have a back up truck.

I understand the Nitro Star K4.6 mill (Savage) and the Nitro Star K4.6 HO mill (Hellfire) are not inter-changeable, like head, crank and such?

I just got my hands on a NITRO STAR K4.6-HO PISTON & CYLINDER SLEEVE and HPI Hellfire K4.6-HO Nova Cooling Head.

Are these parts interchangeable with the K.4.6 that came with my Savage 4.6 SS kit? Or should I rebuild the Hellfire mill with these parts?

I would like to put the new Nova head on my Savy X SS, which hasn't been broken in yet and the stock purple head on the Hellfire mill.

Thanks in advance,

-Bri

Hey hey Underfall, i wish i knew anything about those mills.

Just wanted to throw out a wave; good to see you back posting.

Stick around- should be announcing a pretty sweet raffle this week :spiderman:

two men that could probably tell you are Bankrupter or Purenitro....

Wish I could get 6 gallons threw mine. I think I got about 3 1/2gallons threw mine before it took a poop.

Really? Running it lean? I have over 5 gallons through my k5.9 and it is running better than ever, and that's a mill that most people say sucks LOL.

i had 13 on my axail .28 but then again it never ran lean then the conecting rod went new motor time

I always checked to make sure it was running right. temp 280*F 20% fuel a mc-8 plug. why 3 1/2 gal? what did or am I doing wrong here.

IMO 280*F is too high to be running all the time. I try to keep mine under 250*F. Occasionally it will go up to 265-270*F but that's usually right after it runs out of fuel and it was at it leanest.

4 more shocks to rebuild, still waiting on my "o ring kit" from Tower.

Then I can start putting it back together,
and breaking in that new Piston/Sleeve.

Almost back together..... hurry up mailman!

Waiting on that damn "o-ring" kit.

I can't wait to break it in.
