300m's home brew Mid Tank

Well, finally started working on a mid tank set up.
Started working on this lay out lastnight.

Total ive got about 4 hours into it of tweaking things and getting everything settled and just right.


The servo/tank plate is 2mm aluminum so is the throttle servo mount.

Waiting on my D8T Tank and RPM box to come in.

looking good so far 300 but i think you are missing the brace that goes on top of the steering posts.

I'm not done with it yet. Ive got the brace but didnt have it installed in the picture.

Worked on it some more tonight

Got my 2 corss members/braces bolted in.

So far ive only had to put 2 new holes in the TVP's and have had to make 2 others larger.

Bought a D8T tank from ebay, once it arrives i'll get it mounted up.


Still haven't bought a receiver box. I want something small.


Anyone have the dimensions for the RPM GT box?

build is looking good 3. I'm diggin' that rear servo plate. i just bought an rpm box for my nephew's mid tank; should have it in a couple days & i'll shoot over the measurements.

yeah the mount for the throttle servo turned out nice. I used a piece of aluminum i had from a semi trailer.
It was already bent up and ready to go just needed to cut it down to size.

Still need to remove it from the truck and round off the edges.

Look good sean put link other day for tank on shout is that one you bought. cause bought mine from rc plant didnt come with no tank post .that reason put that up .

Yeah, i put it on my watch list on my ebay account, the next day it went on sale for a little over $9 with a few bucks shipping. I paid less then $12 shipped for it.

Got my fuel tank mounted today.

Ended up turning my servo plate into swiss cheese. While cutting out a new plate i cooked my Dremel.
