I just got the 3 speed today and ran it once(I got the 4.1 engine) and the shift points are way off.Whats a good starting point(about how many turns).I did try to load the 3 speed sticky on here but my computer won't let me. Do you have to take the top cover off the tranny(ez acess) to adjust the 1st to 2nd shift point.

I have to take the top off to adjust my 1st to 2nd. It says 1/4 of a turn at a time in my manual but I got sick of doing that on my tranny and did full turns just to get it to start changing. Then I did 1/4 turns to fine tune.
