2nd gear savage

I hope this is the right forum,i am only new to this site,but any way i have had my savage 4.6ss x 4 a couple of months its been fine until i stripped all teeth on clutch bell,replaced with same amount of teeth but ever since then it wont go into 2nd gear all the time any suggestions would be a big help thnx

Welcome aboard if I haven't already said this. I'm not real sure where to start. The Trans shifts with RPM's so if for some reason your motor isn't getting to the higher RPM's it will not shift. Some things you can check is the tune of the motor, binding bear mesh or drivetrain. Also if you changed fuels or have had a bit of temperature change or elevation changes will all affect this.

First I would work with the turn of the engine if this seems good you can adjust where the gear shifts at. See the manual for directions to do so.
