2 speed transmission problem?

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my stock savage x rtr 4.6 transmission. I sripped the spur gear in the middle and started to inspect why it happened,so I took the top off the tranny and noticed that one of the lower gears closest to the brake disc is wobbling when i spinned it. why would that be? is it because i didn't put the top of the tranny on properly or does the gears have to line up a sertin way when u put it back together? Thanks.

So it's an RTR and you stripped the spur gear. Did you take out the trans before. Or just been running it and it stripped?

yes i did. Do u have to put the top of the transmission back in a certain way..like lining up the gears or just put it back in? Thanks for the help.

Correct it's 3 screws veritcal and 4 through the tvp. I do the 3 screws first tighten each one little by little than after snug the last 4. Make sure the spur gear is on not to tight and the mesh looks good
