Hi guys,
I've now gone thru two sets of servo gears for the stock servo in the Savage XS. First was bashing on gravel/pavement, second time was on the beach. Is there metal gears I could replace the plastic ones with?
Thanks,
CC
Hi guys,
Was out with my XS today and was thinking it would be a fun little drifter. I know pretty much nothing about RC drifting, I would like to ask what tires I could get to make my XS drift?
Thanks,
Turns out there was something wrong with the TX/RX. I called HPI customer support and after having a conversation with the guy, he asked me to send it in. Less than two weeks later I had new.
Thanks for all your suggestions guys.

Thanks,

So I head out to one of my newly discovered bashing spots. Get all settled, gas up the Savage, pull out the roto start and glow plug ignitor. Had it running two days ago with nothing but success. Go to fire it up, almost starts the first try. Try it again and the one way bearing is toast as it...
So its official all Integy upgraded parts excluding the shock towers are coming off. Original parts are going back on as I have had nothing but problems since. I'm that guy who doesn't usually listen to the advice of others, I have to find out for myself. I'm not bashing Integy at all, I think I...
This was after my first bashing session after installing these parts. Not impressed! I should have listened to you guys, but needed to find out for myself. Lesson learned!

Jam...the vehicle is an 1/16 Exceed Thunder Fire Monster truck. Motor is stock. This truck was just fine until I decided to purchase the Mini Recon. That little bugger is fast but now the Thunder Fire is...
