    Radio upgrade question.

Besides the Specktrum dx3c, the Airtronics MX-3X should serve you very well also. You get way more bang and reliability with either of these two choices.

I believe those shims are supposed to be head gaskets to seal the head button, the head button is supposed to hold the sleeve down. Like Mickey said, pictures would help.

    HSN o-ring for LRP Z.28R Spec 3?

Not all o-rings are equal... If at all possible try to stay away from the black general purpose O-rings. They will get you by temporarily, but quickly it will fail again. The orange-silicone type o-rings are best for RC Nitro fuel. The plain black general purpose ones often swell up when...

    Hitec 645mg better than sf-5?

You might if you are using a good 6V hump pack battery. As for me, I noticed immediately my truck hold the turns better while making long sweeping turns, especially in the road and grass where the tires have lots of grip. With the stock servo I had less and less turning radius as the speed...

    Hitec 645mg better than sf-5?

The Hitech HS-645mg has a slight edge on the HPI Racing SF-5, both have the same speed, but the hi-tech has 9oz more on torque.
