    50%?!?

Back you and Larson brothers? J/K Well I have my opinion of the picco .28 mills, and you have yours, so please enjoy. You have missed my point. I was not saying they are bad. But does not matter. I would buy my $160 engine over the $210 engine any day of the week including Sundays. :)...

    50%?!?

Picco is better, but not by worlds. Plus, I meant with the high nitro contect fuel. I don't know why, I do like my SH's (have two). I have gotten beat with them before, (could have been my driving I guess.) But what do you mean the SH is a sister to the LRP. LRP kick straight tail! Are...

How to remove sleeve and piston

Could you point me to some information on this oil bath? I did some searching, can't find much. But yet again bank, i completely disagree with you. :) Heating the engine in the oven is less damage to the mill then the actual use. Your mill can get from room temp to 250 in less then a minute...

    50%?!?

Couple things come to mind. First we are talking about a k4.6 vs. picco .28 . The last time I seen a picco .28 was in a revo, and I was killing that truck with my savage that had my cheapo SH .28 . The reviews of picco big blocks are not the greatest. Not saying the are bad. But B grade to...

GPM C-Hubs & Steering Blocks = Better Steering!

:) That's funny. I have a complete RC18T with only gpm parts, maybe except for the front bumper. Again no problems.

How to remove sleeve and piston

I will have to give this a try someday, just to try if I run into this problem. But two thoughts, one I would rather have my engine parts expand vs shrink, since they natively expand during use. The shrinking of parts and expanding of them will wear the sleeve out faster. Two, it will take...

GPM C-Hubs & Steering Blocks = Better Steering!

I have about ~ 20 hours on them, off 5 foot jumps, on street, everything. Not a problem. I've been using GPM parts for a long time, now. What problems are people with them?

    Were to buy LST2 Shocks

Wow thanks I will keep my eye on them, I am glad I read this thread right now, only 2 + hrs left. I like the blue shock bodies a bit more, but I will buy these if they end up around $55. I messaged a seller of ebay to sell me a set of 4 for $60. I said he could do that, but I have not heard...

Nice Job. It looks great, except for all that purple. :) I hate purple.

    savage 1 shock

I believe you may be refering to the LST2 shocks people are using. Yes you will need mounting hardware of these shocks. I've seen people go with a bit shorter CEN shocks. Using 1 per wheel. No hardware needed for that. Its another option. Check this out for the hardware...

    Filling/stuffing Crank? Need Pictures!

You lost me on this part. I just thought there was a lots of balancing going on with the shaft. And messing up the balance is bad. Thanks for your info.

    Engine value question...

Sorry you're right, 2x would be extreme. I meant to say about (need to still wake up). But, it would be close to that on the torque side, and close to 30% to 40% faster.

your web browser for your mac..

NO NO NO.... I love mac users... I love the realistic view points to all the angles the mac users come up with. Let me just say this, if it was not for the ipod. Apple would be nothing right now, if not closing the doors. The only thing Apple has done very well with, is to start using intel...

    Engine value question...

I agree 100% with larsen. In fact I would tell the guy just what larsen said. Seriously Axial engines are very cheap, and will put out about 2x more power then the s-25. $20 to $30 sounds about right.

    Filling/stuffing Crank? Need Pictures!

All you did was fill the side wall of the crankshaft with silicone gasket stuff (1211)? It is easy to remove if you don't like it? How long do you let it sit before using the engine? Is there an step by step guide somewhere?

    Dogbones-stock or HD?

I have read through all these posts, not one of you use CVDs? Give them a try? I used GPM CVDs for over a year now, Not one problem. (But they were pricey) I'm going to put the BEST (best is the company name) CVDs through some heavy testing before I talk great about them. But only for $45 or...

    Getting Rid Of AWD?

+1 for AOD, People forget that the savage does NOT have a center diff. But did something change? I have always been running WAY less weight in my diff. I'm talking about between 5k to 10k . When did we start using 50k or even 90k... Am I missing something here? I'm not 100% sure on...

How to remove sleeve and piston

Nate, the ONLY way to get the piston and conrod out is by taking the sleeve out. The Only way! If the sleeve is stuck in the crankcase and its to hard to push out with your finger. Try this: 1. Using the end of a tooth brush or something similar like a pen. Try pushing the sleeve out...

GPM C-Hubs & Steering Blocks = Better Steering!

Yes. I like the gpm bulkhead look over FLM. But I am sure the FLM bulkhead are stronger. I just got their LCG TVPs in, dam those things are THICK! good lord. Check out the pics below, again the only parts that are not GPM are the shock towers, shocks, and the bulkhead brace (or think...

    Filling/stuffing Crank? Need Pictures!

This is one mod I have never done. I figured that only the modders did this type of work with special machines and weight balancing devices. I have never heard you can do it your self. Does anyone have any good information on how to do this mod? I pretty much do my own port and polishing...
