LiPo Power Conversion
Lipos are a lot better cells to run off of than the NiMH that most tend to use. You will receive a weight savings, have a longer run time, and be able to give a consistent voltage and amperage to your servos that are under load.
But, you just cannot buy a LiPo and plug it...

You are right sir!
I just checked it and it just seemed far fetched to me and I posted before trying. But it works!
I don't even have to move the battery box.
Thanks again!
The dremeling I did on the header.
Maybe I am forgetful of the OS in the old savage (I am a pull start guy) it just seems like an odd place to have a starter.
Ill give a go tomorrow and thanks for the pics :)
Never mind. I just remember my OS 30 having a roto on the right hand side and not the left. I guess it will work but it just seems odd.
Ill rip the battery off tomorrow and then see how it fits.
**Edit**
I did that for the manifold but I would have to grind some of the back plate for a right...
Hey guys,
I have a sts and just put the roto starter on it. I want to mount it in the savage but noticed that I cannot put the starter of the roto on the right hand side (facing the rear of the truck looking at it) as the groove in the starter will face the bottom and thus prevent the pipe...
The show simply ROCKED!
The opening act "The Sword" was not bad. They were like an early Metallica. The next act sucked, Lamb of God IMO. Was not impressed at all.
When Metallica took the stage it was pitch black to a laser show. The pulsing heart on the begining of That Was Just Your Life...
The local radio station (KISW) turned that night into an invitation. All you had to do was prove that your girl was at the concert and you could drink with them all night. LOL
thank you! I have a whole itinerary of topics and I tend to write about 4 to 5 topics a month. Anything that fits over here I will haul over and add to. =)
Thanks!!! I have been on my toes ever since I bought em. I did the Mission Metallica thing and was able to get extremely good seats for ticket face value. My wife is not a tallica fan but I am dragging her anyways.
Thankfully the New Kids are out of town so that will not be the payback concert...
Winter driving, break in, and storage tips
The holidays are upon us and the winter solstice draws near… what does that mean? Winter RC fun of course!
And with winter fun comes winter type questions.
Vid-
Can you break in your kit during the winter?
Yes you can! This highly depends on...
Downstops
Downstop is the ability of the kit to limit arm travel downward. It effects key components of how the kit runs (jumping, braking, handling, and more)
The more an arm can go down (lower down stop) the less stable it can become:
Turning is more difficult

Squirrel’s RC Set-up Guide PT 1
I have seen a lot of questions about set up or things that could be answered through proper setup. When you build a Pro level kit you will be introduced with a lot of tuning options. The astute builder will notice them and wonder why they are telling you to...
I have not seen these guys since the first night in LA, 1996 (think Cunning Stunts tour). I am so psyched! They are playing tomorrow at Key Arena and I have had near front row tickets since September.
I cannot wait!!! =)
Thought that I would show you guys the first piece to my new series. Its a 21 part setup guide.
Filmed out of order but the first 10 will be up this weekend. This is vid 2.

I think that for the most part we agree. There is alot of personal visual and experienced experience to prove that the RB design is flawed and that it is a waste of $150. Which, at the end of the day, is what this thread is about =)
I still think that for a SC to be successful then it will...
Ok, I encourage you to look at a RC engine side cut. Realize that the exhaust port is on the same level as the intake. Whatever increased air you pump into the chamber will be pushed out with the fuel. Unlike a diesel, there is no way to retain the mixture. The echo or plugging wave does not...
There we go! Pics fixed =)
I get people trying to scrap with me on the subject still. They cannot work due to the design of the hobby level engines. I had a guy last month call me an A-hole becuase I was ruining his business as he sold them and challenged me to a race! LMAO!
Some people on...
