    why does it need to come out ? To do most things, that's not needed. All but its lower shaft will come out with it in the chassis. And you can do all work on the chassis/ drive train with it in.

    but i use the powder graphite in mine <------ good stuff I use it also! Good post Max Grease gets in the shifter pawl and hangs it up hard core. I have never heard of it hurting the OWB but I imagine it will slip too going off they do in motors that run too fat (extra oil) ...

    they will egg out over time. replace yours when you kill them finx. HD's blow out more then the stock part why IDK but they wear way worse... SHD hold up sweet but you have to so it all bones, axles, cups ....
