    OS.30 Carnage

Yea, should have taken more pics before I tossed it. The piston sleeve looked good. No pits, scars or blueing. In fact the pinch was still good. The starting shaft however was blue and the rotostart plate was loose. I'm wondering if that is a symptom or the cause. The actual engine backplate was...

    OS.30 Carnage

Ive only run quality fuels. Started with Odonnells then Werks so lack of lube shouldnt have been a problem. The mill has never been run hot. There must have been something internal that caused the bushing to fail.

    LRP ZR.30 break in process

I loosen the plug a little bit to help start the engine and tighten it back once its running. I run it in circles taking it easy on the throttle. Depending on what time of year, I may wrap some foil around the head to get temps up to 200 deg. Just run it in circles til the tanks empty. I...

    Savage X engine upgrades??

I don't know why LRP still makes the .30. The .28 is faster. I have the .28 and .32. The .32 is a good torque monster. Both are cheaper and faster than the OS.30. I have one of those too. LRp all the way.

    Sparc's Massive Savage Selloff

Those look like 23mm hexs from proline. Those rims are def 23mm so if those were the adapters that were used with them, they are 23mm. Baja wheels are 24mm. They will work with just one wrap with foil tape. Your only talking .5mm on each side.

    Savage in tropical temperatures

Warmer temps mean you need to lean the needles a bit. Your fine with that plug and fuel.

    Dual Fuel Tanks Savage X

Thats an old mod beffore the Ofna and other half tank lean fixes were out. Truck looks nothing like that now. Thats actually my black and red midtank truck now. I bashed the hell out of it with that header tank. Note the gouges on the mounts. Those header tanks are thick and very tough and the...

    Ercm pipe

My take on the ERCM endbleed with a modded Picco, a tad more top end, but noticeable low end. Truch defintely has more punch and a bit more on top. Quality is apples and oranges to the 086. SS is stronger, better looking. Getting one now may be difficult due to the health issues mentioned. I'm...

How to tell when youve had enough! Menace pics

The engine survived. The wheels are Jato rears so I can use them. I don't know how I missed the engine. Only hit it once with a glancing blow bending the top fin only. I was just pounding didnt care what I hit. I had just rebuilt this POS and when I went to charge it up, I dropped it. 2 broken...
