I have a used backplate obeway and rotostart plate for picco p3 .28
It has two dremel marks from st stripped screw i had to remove but it is fine. I converted to bump start. $25 shipped if youre interested.
I think its just rich. Fire it up and get it warmed up. Then with whelks off the ground give it throttle. When it stops reving hold the throttle and lean the hsn and see if it revs higher.
I would get the lst2 cvds (bulletproof) and get 17mm truggy hexs. Any brand. Then your tire/rim options are endless.
And that losi 3.4 is a bad ass little mill.
Ive found losi tires are heavy and way off balance. I hsd a few 420 series. 20mm hex is losi only. Limits selection. I run 23. Old school not much selection there either now. 17mm is the best for options.
That tranny overhaul will give you another 5mph.
The 32 wont be any faster than the 28. Rpms are the same. 28 may even be a bit faster on top end. Advantage 32 is the ability to turn higher gear ratio with its torque.
What i ment in the sec you quoted is that the tranny in stock form is prone to failure so you might be upgrading sooner than...
Yes it does esp with xxl brushless gears.
I dobt have the part numbers off hand.
Gear flio mod is simply flipping the two gears in the foward only kit. A little dremel work to the case is required.
Just remember the lst is about 2 or 3 pounds heavier and geared lower than your savage.
Theres a foward only conversion with gear flip and xxl brushless pinion ans high speed two speed gears. After all of that its about the same as a savage
