Stock servo?? if so it is most likely dead or dying.... cheap replacements available on e bay or amazon and other places... just look for something with metal gears and at least 200 ozin torque, my latest favorite is the powerhd servos priced right and good power....
well measure the hole the puck goes into and make it out of brass rod cut to the length it needs to be.....
6mm dia x 5.5 mm thick is what my spare measures out to be...
I spray my mixture on, brush heavily dirty areas with an old toothbrush spray again till clean then blow off with compressed air to finish it off, afterward I clean the bearings if any are in need separately in denatured alcohol and reoil as needed...
Higher rpm engagement is better for some ( I am using dynamite 1.0 springs) because it lets the engine build a bit more rpm and power before engaging the shoes, as with any alloy shoe you are going to have more maintenance to remove the burrs and mushrooming on the shoes, I usually get a season...
except when the nylocks start not holding, I use locktite all the time with nylock stuff with zero problems.... and on my 17mm hex nuts I use locktite with great success, you never see me chasing down a loose wheel ever :)
@VDR_Reaper did you read all those threads about engines I posted above, if you are new to Nitro you NEED to read and understand those before proceeding further otherwise you may do more harm than good to your stuff.....
is the fuel fresh? just because the glow plug glows does not mean it is in good order, do you have another glow plug to try? what are the needle settings at ?? is the fuel getting to the carburetor? did it sit for awhile? if so the fuel may be getting to the carburetor but there may be a clog of...
Sadly not much in the way of Savage parts out there lately, search A Main or E Bay or Tower or Horizon hobby, keep in mind that the pipe is side specific and the outlet needs to point away from the right side of the chassis.....
Well I scanned the manual and did not see anything that popped out saying factory reset button, guess you could call futaba directly and ask them......

Is that your radio setup??? is it still crystal type? if so we have come a long way since that was built, I didnt read thru the whole binder of a manual but that system is antiquated compared to the 2.4 gig systems available now...

see that shaft with the indent that ramps inside? that rides against a pin and spring inside the engine crankshaft and once started...
all cow rc udder butter is is simply blue waterproof boat wheel bearing grease, and you can buy a large tube at most auto parts stores for a couple bux......
DON'T use that in a nitro engine, those engines are built to run methanol and nitro mixed with some lubrication, if you were to run gasoline it would destroy itself in short order due to no lube....
