or as X said, if the head of the bolt has come off then drill small hole down centre of bolt maybe 2-3mm down and use an easy out, or if theres some thread of the snapped bolt sticking up, cut a slot, if you stripped the thread you can re tap it and put a slightly larger bolt in it

i would go all the way and put the integy light kit on it too, it would finish it off...
well someone has spent a bit of money putting custom alloy parts on, piggyback shocks ect but theres nothing there that cant be replaced if it gets broken, but suspect the only dirt that truck has ever or will ever see is dust from sitting there on a shelf being stared at for all its life :D...

as for what engine to get, thats down to how much you can spend and what brand you like, the k 4.6 in the newer savage x is a good engine and wont break your bank...

a short video would help, its so we can see how the engine sounds ect, the engine will be set over the top rich, which is a good thing when running in a new engine, oil should be dripping from the exhaust too, nothing to worry about, you can if needed to keep the engine running just turn the hsn...
today i put the 6th tank of fuel through the new lrp engine, I'm very happy at how smoothly this breaking in has gone, 1 more tank to be safe and then ill tune the engine in, tho even after the tune up i shall be taking it easy for while...
just to add, if you was to give that savage a good service, replacing worn or broken parts, make it a fun project for youself, take your time enjoying the build, then replace that engine, which i have just done for my savage, you would not regret putting in the work, these savages are great fun...
yea that was an f 4.6 engine, its dead
2 options
if the piston,sleeve, cooling head, back plate and crank shaft is in very good condition then youll need a new engine block with bearings and a new carb
i think the last option is what would work out best for you, thats to buy a new engine
