well for the servo issue i am going to upgrade the steering servo to the HPI SF-32TT becuase it has 330 oz-in of torque, and then take my stock steering servo and use it as my throttle/brake servo. that way they will both have metal gears. hopefully that will be the last time i gotta mess with...
yeah I removed the fuel line and found a drill bit the same size as the inside diameter (cant remember size) and drilled out the pipe and tank. cleared it up.
my lean issue was off idle. I'm not sure what other peoples lean problem was.

the way I understand it is that the exhaust coming from the motor has to pressurize the fuel tank to push the fuel into the carb, giving the carb a steady fuel supply. once the tank gets lower, the backpressure is reduced because of less fuel. thus not supplying enough fuel to the carb.

The way I fixed my HTL issue was I took the pipe off and drilled the nipple bigger to the same inside diameter as the fuel line, and I drilled the tank vent line also. then lean out the high speed needle and richen out the low speed needle.
