Just got the standoffs in the mail today. I noticed I need a bit longer screw to mount them. No biggie. I noticed it puts the shock a bit more forward than the original equipment. Will this put any more strain on the shock shaft? I will have to check out that thread and see if there is any pics...
I just got the hpi big bores installed and noticed that there is a bit of slop in the upper cap from the pillow ball. It doesn't seem to be big enough. I'm not sure if this might cause some problems down the road, possibly a broken upper cap from the excess movement. Has anyone tried anything...
When shimming these diffs, how many shims are you guys using on each side of the diff? I have tried a few different combos and my ring/pinion are clacking pretty loudly.
