their is no best everyone on here has their own favorit mill. Its kinda like a for and chey deal. Their are all kinds of write ups on motors on here and i think their is a sticky of engine dyno's that shows rpms horse power and all that.
P.S My current favorit mill is the picco .27
i agree with AoD every motor and truck has people who love it and people who hate it. one thing for sure is that it is a waste of money to let it sit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if your linkage is in a bind then i would sugest when you put your carb back on leave the pinch bolt loose and find the spot wear the slide dose not bind then tighten the pinch bolt down. I have also found it helpful to move the return spring else wear on the truck so that it has more tension on...
I would not make up your mind on loudness. You sould look at performance. If it lound and preforms well then go with it. I would also as hop about the link that he has posted he is very good about knowing what he posts about. just my two cents take it for what its worth
Got the picco put back togeather and its mean cant keep the front wheels on the ground. temps are low and she runs like a champ thanks for the help AoD
just need some more run time on the motor and it will come around. You have to be very carefull with the F4.1 on the X. it is a very tempermental engine you run it to lean and your gonna blow it up fast. If you take the time and break it in then it will be a good engine. Just like said above run...
