I have both HPI and Mugen 1.0 springs. The only way of getting them HPI springs is buying the complete package of HPI clutch shoes with the springs. Thats at least here in Japan it is sold as a set. HPI clutch shoes with springs $36. Mugen 1.0 springs $2.00.
Here is the picture of them side by side, or aleast the .21 is almost at a 90 degree. Last weekend the Mugen staff placed them side by side and the .21 is a bit larger.
I have only seen it run and at the 13:40ish mark, the buggy came in to fuel and it still had about 1/4 tank left.
Most people run .21's in the buggy and it is more than enough for it. IMO this is the smallest I would use to compete with the higher end .21's.

I am in the military using USPS. Only thing is the additional 4-7 days normally due to air logistics, however with all the events here it may take a bit longer.:dunno:
It was not my intention that you remove the shim. I was saying make sure you have the right amount according to your manual. You have to install the right amount with the % of nitro content your are using. After everything checks out then start it. Some people tend to forget to install the...
Have you ever removed the sleeve from the motor? If either no or yes double check everything again. Of course you engine is getting high temps because of that leak. Double check your sleeve and piston for damage, maybe post pictures for us to help. There is a pin that should be on the crank...
The Nuclear Power Plant situation has prompted my base for evacuation. My family is flying out in the next few hours to avoid any exposure. I'll be left behind as many like myself are essential in supporting operations.army
The spring and/or rubber band may not be able to pull the servo horn back to neutral position (the slide carb attatched to servo/throttle return assembly to rod then servo arm to the servo itself) especially when your last throttle input was in WOT. The servo may hold the throttle assembly in...
