Well, I finally got the 5th tank through it and man does it have some beans! Temps are between 230-250f. I haven't started tuning yet and it wheelies on demand and can pull the steers up from a rolling start. I haven't any experience with the whole video clip thing but will try tomorrow if...
Well, 2nd tank done and it's really starting run smoother, no more drama, temps are around 180f. I'm starting to get itchy for second gear and full boogie but will resist til 5th tank.:nono:
A couple of fellas here have requested that I post a review of my brandy new LRP ZR.30, so here goes. The test mule is a Savage X rtr with Maximizers, Zombie Maxes, and Big bores. I was sooo tired chasing problems and trouble shooting the 4.6f engine with like 2 gallons through it that I...
I will hopefully sat of sunday. I'm not very experienced but I plunked down decent coin for what I hope is a quality mill, and I'll be glad to let you all know what I find.
I will be breaking in my LRP ZR.30 this friday and hope to have it broke in by sunday. Mine is in a plain old rtr x with big bores, but I'm hoping it really ripps. I will post my findings.
Is the truck the Savage x in your sig? If so it should have a 2 speed. I own both but as of yet still can't get the 3 speed tuned right. The 2 speed is much simpler to tune(1 adjustment versus 2). Good luck.
I have the Zombie max's and the half inch offset Maximizer beadlocks and like them just find a different foam as the ones that come with the tires are garbage. The yellow Ofna foams are probably the way to fly. Good luck.
I think so, I have the offset Maximzers and Losi Zombie Max tires. I like the wheels just be careful to both tighten the side rings all the way down and don't strip the screws. I originally wanted the Badlands tire as well but it looked kind of narrow. Take some pics when you get'em. Good luck.
I'm gonna throw a few solutions out there for a stripped spur. On my X I went through like 3 spur gears, almost all a different failure. The first spur was destroyed because the slipper clutch was too loose causing heat from slippage that melted the bronze bushing through the spur. The second...
I also own a Savage 25 and the stock batt box stinks. If you like you can upgrade to the Savage X box [p#85236+z569 screw] and while you are in there it's a great time to upgrade the steering by replacing the bushings in the posts with bearings [p# b045]. Good luck :D
Hey, that's a pretty clean install. You have 2 dogbone shaped pieces from shock tower holding it, what did you make 'em outta? Is that all that holds it?
You guys should have seen my 25 with reverse when I got that, it had the old style box with like 5 hair pins holding everything in and stuff pinched everwhere. I got the new style box and it's a little better but too small. Maybe a little box on the side, saddle style is a better mousetrap?
